How is RFID different from barcodes?
Barcodes must be scanned one at a time with line of sight. RFID tags are read by radio, many at once and without pointing at each item — which makes counts and tracking much faster.
How far can RFID tags be read?
Handheld readers can read up to about 15 m, depending on the tag, reader and environment. Fixed readers cover doorways, portals and zones.
Can we print our own RFID labels?
Yes. RFID printers print and encode labels at the same time, and verify each tag as it is printed.
Will RFID work with our existing ERP?
